FAQ

When is your next program?
My programs are entirely on demand - so please contact me for more information.

My child/family has never attended a program before how can we get involved?
Easy just jon the email list or simply take a moment to give me a call and tell me your coming.

Where is do you lead groups?
In various properties around Yellow Springs, Fairborn and Xenia in the Miami Valley, Ohio

Why only ten children?
What makes you think that people learn in environments where they are crowded?

Why is it so expensive?
Because there are a lot of expenses to cover and only ten children in attendance on any given week. No child will be turned away because of financial limitation. Barter is always welcome. Signing your child up for the whole summer is the best way to get a good rate.

How do you decide who gets to attend?
It’s all about the order in which applications are received. Race, economics, and parental dedication do not factor in. I expect to receive many more applications then I have spots to fill. Applications are from March till camp is full and I will inform you if youĂ‚’re on the waiting list. Some children may be selected based on age to balance the age range of the group.

Normally, at my child’s school, he/she is placed with peers. Your group varies in age. Why is that?
It has been normal throughout human history to have groups of humans in mixed age groups. Having a mixed age range teaches important skills about caring for each other and looking out for people older/younger than we are.

Can you really do all the things you teach?
Of course! How improper of me would it be to teach a skill I couldn’t do myself?
